West Lincoln Memorial Auxiliary

In 1944 a group of woman who saw a need, and had a vision, established West Lincoln Memorial Auxiliary (WLMA). During our 65th year we continue to provide warmth and care to patient services as well as funds for hospital equipment.

Last year our members provided 30,000 hours of volunteer services to WLMH. Our services include manning the WLMA office, front and ER lobbies, clinic reception desk, physiotherapy, coffee shop, gift shop, internal mail delivery, wards B & C & Obs and other duties.

In August 2002 WLMA pledged $500,000 to the new hospital, that pledge has been met and we look forward to turning it over to the hospital when building begins. We are currently raising $250,000 towards our pledge for the Full Spectrum Digital Mammography Unit. Yearly we make presentations to students at four local secondary schools of $500 each. We support education services for staff with $5000 each year. Over $38,000 in equipment has been purchased with Auxiliary funds this year.

100% of all donations that we receive go directly toward hospital equipment and services. We are pleased to issue tax receipts for all donations.
